Something New
*Instagram Alert*
We are 15 days into our 21 day adventure in Europe. Each day is filled with "something new" and it's totally thrilling. Today we stood in line for over an hour to go into Anne Frank's house in Amsterdam. I fought back tears the entire time we toured her house. Our kids (ages 16, 13, and 10) were both saddened and captivated by the spirit of a child so close to their own age. As we were leaving the gift shop at the end of the tour, we came to the area you see in this image. There was a small donation box and guest book where you can leave your impressions. This is my oldest, who had been waiting to see Anne's house since third grade, recording her thoughts.
Also, I'm blowing the dust off my blog and have started to upload entries from our trip. We have had many adventures, so if you care to follow along, here is the link:
