We played hooky and went to the Museum today. I love the Henry Ford Museum. We are at the car bins here. thousands of Connext (connects?) for building into cars. Then there are bumpy roads to test drive your vehicle on. We have spent dozen of hours over the years hanging out here.
Chris worked here when we were dating and have always kept a pass. Even when we lived in Chicago. It is just a great museum. It has a feeling of peace here... it's not one of those places where when you leave you are exhausted.
This is also a great rep of my hometown. I was born and lived in Detroit until I was 8 and now work downtown. I have lived in a few places bordering Detroit over the years as well as Chicago and a brief foray in Boulder CO.
