© David K. Edwards. It pulls your head forward and briskly sucks out your eyeballs (it does something additional and cute if you are wearing glasses). Then it eats your face, devouring almost all of the skin and muscle. When finished, it emits a series of high-pitched burps that are somehow even more terrifying than its strident hunting call. In the photograph, note also the green puercoceptor organ, which curls when inactive.
