619DYE / KGJ188A- RM1619.
The Japanese buses website has recently been updated www5e.biglobe.ne.jp/~iwate/vehicle/extra/useful/london_bu... and now includes photos and current details for RM1619. There are 4 photos taken on 6-8-22 of the RM in use as 'Homemade Bakery' at a farm in Kochi City with the notes- It is a farm restaurant with a bakery shop, and it is Routemaster that it is the "London Bus Library". It is a space where you can eat bread sold at the bakery, drink drinks, and read the books prepared on the bus.
There is a space for children to enjoy vehicle play on the first floor, and a space for eating and drinking on the second floor.
The license plate is KGJ188A, the individual number is RM1619.
Ian Smith's website records the history of fleetnumber RM1619- RM1619 619 DYE new: 7/5RM5/7, Leyland O.600

Managed to find this photo on the web of RM1619 taken in 2018, which clearly confirms the stated registration plate and fleetnumber. The last entry on Ian Smith's record would therefore appear to be erroneous as the RM at the Anglo Satsuma Museum in Chiran wears plate 819 DYE, so will likely be RM1819, which is also confirmed as exported to Japan. www.flickr.com/photos/89578620@N00/15407665781/in/album-7....
Having visited Japan between 9/69 and 12/69 it is maybe appropriate that RM1619 has retired there! However as of now, RM1619's early second life in Japan from 2/95 to c2018, would appear to be unknown. Maybe further info will come to light in the future.
