Shiba Ryōtarō's Library - Osaka, Japan
This beautiful library was built in memory of Shiba Ryōtarō, a literary hero in Osaka. It houses 20,000 of his 80,000 book collection, and the shelves are 11 metres tall!
We're currently waiting out typhoon Vongfong, which is passing by Osaka with less ferocity than first thought, but the streets are still deep in water.
Fortunately we're holed up with plenty of good food and drinks
