The First Day!: Apostrophe
This is the first restaurant I ate at in London and also the first time I spent Pounds! It was located right outside St. Paul's, and was absolutely delicious. I had ordered a ham and cheese croissant which I later realized was very popular in London; to have a croissant for the bread of a sandwich (I miss this very much). I also realized while I was here how many languages are spoken in London; the people behind the counter spoke French and Swedish and I speak neither. Lunch was actually hard to order because of this. While this is obviously language diversity, I also consider cultural diversity, as it is very uncommon in Columbus to run into so many people from different countries and to hear so many languages.
