Cesar Chavez Avenue Viaduct

Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument No. 224. Designed under the direction of Merrill Butler, the Macy Street Viaduct was completed in 1926. Its Spanish Colonial elements were to reflect the route's history as part of the El Camino Real. Macy Street was renamed in 1994 for labor leader Cesar Chavez.
