Fireboat No. 2 and Firehouse No. 112, around 1955

Both parts of Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument No. 154. The firehouse, completed in 1926, demolished in 1986, was located at Berth 227 on San Pedro's Terminal Island. It served as the homebase for Fireboat No. 2, launched on October 20, 1925. Renamed the Ralph J. Scott in 1965, the boar today sits on land behind the new Firehouse No. 112 at Berth 86.
