Lemon Lime
Created for the Glitz Lounge February (yes FEBRUARY - I am ahead of time. Woo hoo!!!!!) challenge - Desserts. This is my interpretation of one of my favorites; lemon lime shave ice with a little extra. My shave ice has candied flowers on top. I am in Hawaii afterall and a girl can pretend. (In my dreams with this dessert anyway - in reality I am in cold, frigid Montana.)
So we have over 250 gemstones hand wrapped to sterling chain. The sparklers include: 2mm smooth peridot rounds (kept dropping the little devils), 6mm faceted phrenite pears that just hold the light and GLOW, 4mm faceted phrenite rondelles, 7mm faceted lemon quartz teardrops,4mm faceted lemon quartz rondelles, 3mm faceted rock crystal rondelles, 6 - 8mm Herkimer diamonds, 6.5mm faceted Mystic rock crystal rondelles, 3mm faceted gem grade mystic prasiolite rondelles. Whew!.
The assymetrically placed lampwork focal shows beautiful pink and purple flowers encased in clear, sparkling glass. There is a pink sparkle to the bead created by Annette from AJ beads.
Falling from the adjustable chain is a cascade of the same sparkling gems ending in a perfect AAA 10mm step faceted pink topaz 3D teardrop.
