"The paintings on the walls of the Bałuty bulidings in Łódź were created in the frames of the project entitled Children of Bałuty – Murals of Memory. It is a story about children who were imprisoned in the Litzmannstadt Ghetto. The paintings were based on archival photographs. The project initiated in 2012 an since then the portraits of anonymous Jewish children were added, as well as the ones of the adolescent prisoners of the Polish children camp and of the children from the Romani camp."
