Hernandia moerenhoutiana: floral cymes
The Hernandiaceae are related to Lauraceae and are basal angiosperms. Calyx and corolla are very similar, both having three members. The branches of the cymes are subtended by bracts that are green and leafy at the lowest branches but become off-white and petaloid towards the tip of the cyme.
