C1 paddler, Town Falls, Mike Jones Rally, 1987
In December 1987 we spent a weekend in Llangollen, north Wales for the annual Mike Jones Rally. The rally is no longer held at Llangollen but on the River Tyne from what I can gather. Mike Jones was a British expedition canoeist who died while trying to save a friend in Pakistan.
