Making the Monster
A step by step guide on making a minifig Ice Warrior!
I was a little bit unsure about pulling apart my old Dapol Ice Warrior but then I decided "sod it"- with the amazing Character Options range of Classic Who figures there is really no need to keep those old ones (other then as a reminder on how not to make a range of Who action figures!).
You'll also notice that I am using a pair of green Lego hands- they look a lot more claw like so suit the figure better then the existing CB hands.
I used a 4.8 hand drill to make the hole in the warriors head, the size was just right for it to plug onto the body.
Finally, I gave him a quick coat of acrylic paint.
I may go back and beef his body up- one grumble I have is that the CB bodies are a little to big for Lego body wear as a Lego breastplate painted green would have been perfect.
