Beim Elbfest.Hamburg gibt es gleich zwei Gründe zum Feiern: den 150. Geburtstag des Sandtorhafens und die maritime Tradition Hamburgs. Zwei Tage lang dreht sich bei einem umfangreichen Programm im Traditionsschiffhafen, im Hafenmuseum und auf der Elbe alles um die alten Schoner, Dampfer und Ewer.
Das Elbfest fand in diesem Jahr zum ersten Mal in Hamburg statt. Wenn es nach dem Willen der Veranstalter geht, soll das Fest künftig alle zwei Jahre im Wechsel mit den Hamburger „Cruise Days” ausgerichtet werden.
For the Elbfest.Hamburg there are two reasons to celebrate: the 150th birthday of Sandtorhafen and the maritime tradition of Hamburg. Two days of comprehensive program in the Historic Ship Harbour, in Port Museum and around the old schooners, steamers and Ewer.
The Elbfest took place for the first time in Hamburg this year. When it comes to the will of the organizers, the festival will be aligned every two years alternating with the Hamburger "Cruise Days" in future.
