Damit hatte ich nicht gerechnet:
dieses Gebäude ist eigentlich seit 9 Jahren fertig.....aber dennoch ist das Gelände und das Gebäude eine Baustelle.
I did not expect that:
this building is actually finished since 9 years ..... but the site and the building are still a construction site.

L'Àgora ist ein multifunktionelles Gebäude in der Ciudad de las Artes y de las Ciencias in Valencia, Spanien.[1] Das Gebäude wird als Austragungsort verschiedener sportlicher und kultureller Veranstaltungen genutzt.[2] Es wurde wie die meisten anderen Gebäude in der "Stadt der Künste und Wissenschaften" vom valencianischen Architekten Santiago Calatrava entworfen und wurde im November 2009 als bisher letztes Gebäude des neuen Stadtteils eröffnet. Das elliptische Gebäude ist in geschlossenem Zustand 70 Meter hoch und auf einer Gesamtfläche von 4.811 m² bietet es je nach Sitzanordnung Platz für maximal 6.075 Besucher.
L'Àgora (Valencian: [ˈlaɣoɾa], Eastern Catalan: [ˈlaɣuɾə]; Spanish: El Ágora, "The Agora") is a multifunctional covered space designed by Santiago Calatrava located in the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències (City of Arts and Sciences) complex, Valencia, Spain. The building has a height of 80 m and occupies 5,000 m2 of elliptic space. Depending on the configuration of the space, a maximum seating capacity for 6,075 people can be reached.[2]
L'Àgora was officially inaugurated in November 2009 to host the Valencia Open 500 ATP tournament.
