Up a Lazy River
Home Place (ca. 1790) positive
Taken in St. Charles Parish, Louisiana
Negative: Pelegry process. Canson marker paper. Developed in gallic acid. Waxed.
Positive: Salt print on Arches Platine 310g paper. Iodized (floated) with ammonium chloride/sodium citrate/gelatin.
I'm having problems getting good iodizer when floated for the salt print. Resulting in weak contrast, but this one it seemed to work for the image. The problem in these dry winter days is with excessive curling of the paper when floated so its hard to get an even coating. Does anyone have a trick to help? Thanks.
