Blowin' in the wind

These Milkweed seeds, attached to white, filament-like hairs called coma, are all set to be transported....carried away by the wind to find new locations in a nearby field. The seeds will work their way to the surface of the soil during the rainy days and nights of autumn hoping to germinate the following spring.
