STRIPED KINGFISHER // HALCYON CHELICUTI (17cm)

RATHER small dumpy kingfisher,, favors dry bush, it is largely insectivorous. Seen on the nature trail, Kotu Gambia, a good one to capture as it regularly uses the same perches within its territory.
