BLUE-BELLIED ROLLER // CORACIAS CYANOGASTER (36cm)

HABITS near damp ground or watercourses, normally in pairs, highly vocal. Often seen on oil-palms eating the fruit and treating the kernel as an insect by beating and wiping it on a perch before ingestion. Love seeing these birds at the Kuto area in the Gambia.
