GREAT STOTTED WOODPECKER // DENDROCOPUS MAJOR (24cm)

Through a DIAMOND LEADED WINDOW, in very poor light, but thank God, it came out reasonable well, hope you agree, this Woodpecker, normally flies straight to the peanut feeders, and straight off again, but this day he went a short distance to one of my trees, and stayed for a few minutes. Grabbed my camera, could not open the window, as knew this would spook him, put the ISO up to 1600, and fired away. At the time did think these would only be record images. Seen Minster Thanet Kent.
