SONG THRUSH // TURDUS PHILOMELOS (23cm)
DAINTY and well-marked thrush, and ranks as a favorite among many birders. Its BEAUTIFUL AND DISTINCTIVE SONG, contributes in no small way to its appeal. The sexes are similar, I cannot tell them apart ! Found in a wide variety of habitats, and sad to say along with the mistle thrush, is still in serious decline.
