REDSHANK CHICK // TRINGA TOTANUS.
TIP TOEING through the buttercups, this very tiny chick, feeding for its self, was amazing to see at Elmley marshes, at Sheppey Kent, The mother kept a every watchful eye on it, the first sign of danger, it lets out a shrill alarm call, and would take to the air to defend from gulls , owls and even a Marsh harrier.
