STONECHAT (F) SAXICOLA TORQUATA.

HEATHS, COMMONS, AND GORSE-SLOPES, near the coast, is ideal to find these, and one of them will act as look out, climbing a tall plant, they will flick its tail up, and utter a harsh alarm call if disturbed, to warn the other Stonechats. Its small and compact (11cm in length)
