They are hopefully well fed, but MIGRATION is a hazardous time and many die from, STARVATION, EXHAUSTION and in STORMS .! The young have left first already, the rest have been leaving right now, a few late ones will go into October before leaving.
Always puts a lump in my throat, to see them gathering in groups ready to leave, wish them God speed and safe travel.
