BLACK-NECKED WEAVER / GAMBIA.

Female left, male right with additional black bib, at (16 cm) a mainly yellow with dull olive-green back, I love their bandit type mask! the nest is typical of the weaver family a hanging globular, made of narrow grass strips, This image was two put together to show how the sexes differ, a dead give away as different backgrounds, but both on the same stick at different heights and opposite sides, a bit of luck, so feathered and halved the sticks, copied and pasted to make the above.

Thank you for your visit and time, any comments are very much appreciated, take care in all you do.................Tomx
