RECORD BREAKER; KENT
This young man, with ten years cycle racing experience in this legs, took on the task of trying to break the club 100 mile time trial record, the course was set, out and back and same road return, measured and approved, marshalls, witnesses, and official timekeepers hired, the best time for the attempt was 5am Sunday 19th August 1973. The day was dry with little wind, perfect conditions the attempt was on! and it was broken by almost a amazing three mins. in 4hrs 20mins 38secs his finest cycling achievement. Nearly forgot to say that young man was Tom Webzell (me)...
Thank you for your visit, any comments would be gratefully received, any jokes about my legs, I will accept ..........Tom.
