My mother always said. ”Give Anders a finger and he will take the whole hand.”
That is not entirely true, I am quite modest when eating out, I never take seconds unless offered, even if it taste temptingly good. But when it comes to love, sex and freedom, I am afraid it is quite true. So, now that I yesterday exercised my constitutional right to depict myself publicly as a most conservative office woman, one must restore balance in the feminin sphere of cosmos by going to the ”other side”, supporting the more chaotic spirits in the nature of women. Hence the retro girl, who suddenly jumped out a ”pin up” girl, only to reveal her true identity, gracefully descending from her wilderness throne, the African ”Queen” (or even a Jamaican pincess some say).
I passed a second hand shop the other day and a sign caught my eyes. Take 3 things for 10 dollar. I took this red silky top as one of them. I can STRONGLY RECOMEND second hand shops, I have found the BEST of things there. HIGH quality, LOW cost!
Walking home from the park I pass people out walking the dog, going to work, delivering goods to stores and so on. They look at me from afar and I wonder what they think? Not that I care, I just wonder? My goal has NEVER been to be ”passable” I even HATE the expression. I just want to be lovely and attractable in my OWN eyes and way. Yet sometimes I wonder what other people see, especially when they don´t seem to react with any surprised or astonishment as they pass me. This time I had brought my big tripod to the park, in order to take some ”real” pictures. I think the ones who saw me ”shooting” thought I was a girl out taking pictures of herself, or walking to and throw the park, perhaps they think they saw, a pretty photographer going to work? They reacted so.. just looked with slightly raised interest and moved on.
I laugh up the stairs to my home, feeling like I have cheated the world and tricked society out of a treat. Looking at the pictures I learn that it is in fact JUST what society is berobbed, a treat ;o) - Well it's loss, my gain ;o)
