Veruca back home in NJ pt1
So, Veruca had such a great time in Florida that it was hard for her to leave. As the day we were to leave grew nearer, I decided to lay off taking pictures of her because I noticed she was getting a little quiet at times. Sad or mad? I wasn't sure.
We went to Disney's Magic Kingdom, Epcot, went to see the movie Amazing Spiderman, went to Downtown Disney, Miami's South Beach, and Islands of Adventure (Veruca wanted to go on the Harry Potter ride so she decided to put up with the lines and crowds of people. Lol, because of the height requirement though, I had to sneak her in. She LOVED it!)
Anyway, I promised we'd be back but she didn't want to listen to me. She spent the whole 20hr train trip back whispering with Monsieur Domo. I think Domo was trying to be neutral but she didn't want to hear none of it from him either.
The saddest part was when she walked around my parent's house taking pictures of every room with her little camera the day we left. My mom even gave her her phone number and told her to call whenever she wanted to say hi.
I know Veruca can be a grump and bossy and a pain sometimes but I rather have her be that than sad. So, when we got back home to NJ, I thought a trip to IKEA would cheer her up. So to IKEA we went.
