Since I moved into a new place, I figured it might be a good time to post a new picture of something I cooked in forever.
It doesn't look great, but it was exceedingly tasty. Veggie curry!
Garlic and onions sauteed with garam masala, cumin, tumeric, ginger, sriracha and some s&p. Then cooked down with some tomatoes and pureed, added back to the pan with some water and milk, yukon gold potatoes. Then, after a while, the chickpeas and peas. Then cooked until the potatoes were done. Really good. I thought I overseasoned it, but after adding everything in it was just right. Yum :D
I made this with chicken a couple times, but I kind of realized that was my least favorite part unless I was grilling it, and even then, I didn't like it as leftovers. It was also the most work out of everything. So I dropped it, and I think it's better this way. Someday to try paneer also, yes?
Spices vary a bunch, also sometimes I use broth instead of milk. I don't always puree it either, but that DEFINITELY adds something.
