Cromer Blogg

Cromer as seen from the cliffs to the south-east of the town with its pier (plus lifeboat house & ramp) and the church of St. Peter and St. Paul prominent.

The town is home to a museum dedicated to the most decorated lifeboat man in the RNLI's history - Henry Blogg - who served on the Cromer lifeboat for 53 years until his retirement at the age of 71 in 1947.

During that time he was coxswain for 38 years (through both World Wars), and was responsible for saving 873 lives.

Quite a man!
