I drove north about 50 miles north to chase this southbound train back to Northern Maine Jct. The weather was deteriorating all day, but when you drive 10 hours to get this stuff, you don't care. Here we have 3 BL2's behind the F unit, all facing forward. I was sill shooting K64 at the time.
36 years later, I notice that my slides from the trip are dated 7/27 and 7/28, and I'm thinking "how could I drive that far, get all those shots, and drive home?" irregardless of how fast I drive.. My notes go back to only 1980. Well, I'm now realizing that it was a 3 day trip, and I stamped many of the slides from the trip with the wrong date. So now, I'm no longer Dazed and Cornfused...
