The interplay of light, shadow, and sand at White Sands National Monument
This was my first trip to White Sands National Monument - wow! What an impressive place. I hit it in late afternoon on a cold day in February 2012 but the lighting was perfect - and amazing; none of these photos are PhotoShopped or heavily edited, it is more a study of shadow and light, with an occasional bush tossed in. I'd love to go back here again when I have some more time on my hands.
