I was visiting the Texas Renaissance Festival outside of Houston in October 2012; the TRF is open on the weekends so I needed something to do during the week. I noticed the Blue Angels would be practicing at Pensacola Naval Air Station during the week; it was a very long drive across some of the most boring scenery in the country but it was worth it. The Blues put on an incredible practice show on an absolutely gorgeous day - I'm so glad I made the trip - I will never tire of watching them perform!
