I was lucky enough to visit the Minnesota Renaissance Festival in Shakopee, MN, in September 2011 - which happened to be the weekend with a lot of belly dancing on. One of the premier dance groups, Sisters of the Sahara, performed several times - and they put on a great show. The dancers delighted the crowd and the photographers too! I'd love to check out the 2012 MRF - it is one of the best Ren Festivals in the country.
