These photos are from the first weekend of the Three Barons Renaissance Fair in June 2011. I attended the Sunday show; it was decent weather until about one minute before the dancers started and then it started to rain - slowly at first and then it came down. The dancers kept dancing but they were getting colder and wetter by the minutes; they looked like they were freezing and miserable. I was trying to take photos while balancing an umbrella with my neck to keep the camera dry; most of the time the umbrella shifted sending cold water down my neck and parts south from there - it was truly miserable. However, for the last dance it stopped raining and started to brighten up a little. I tip my hat to these fine dancers!
