I met Dorthy at a Run to the Sun Fashion show in Anchorage. I took an instant liking to her - she had the sweetest smile and a definite girl-next-door look. We arranged to shoot at Goose Lake in Anchorage, Alaska in June 2010. The conditions were nasty - the wind was ripping through at 30-40 mph the whole time - not a good thing with you have as much hair as Dorthy - she ended up looking like Cousin Itt! After a bit we learned to time the shots between wind blasts and got some very nice shots (thanks to Dorthy - I had nothing to do with it).
Dorthy is a incredible person to shoot with - great attitude, incredibly photogenic, gorgeous eyes and smile with fantastic hair and legs. Like me, she just oozes sweetness. Hopefully I'll have the chance to shoot with her in less windy conditions in the future!
