Views from Going-to-the-Sun Road in Glacier National Park
It's a great park but it is over loved. The current facilities can't handle the demand. There was a lot of road construction on the Going to the Sun Road so we experienced numerous traffic delays, almost all of the pullouts were closed, the parking lots were full - these factors took away from the visit but is still a beautiful place to go. The air quality on the west side of the park was good but the areas on the eastern side were dealing with smoke from many wildfires in Washington State and Canada. Despite all that, we loved the visit. We were there for three days in mid-July 2017.
