The Grand Tetons from the outlet of String Lake
Aside from having a cool name, courtesy of French trappers, the Grand Tetons are an amazing sight rising thousands of feet over the plains. I visited the Tetons in May 2009 on a whirlwind trip through Idaho and Wyoming. The scenery was fantastic, the only problem was that all the trails were still snow covered - I'll have to come back later in the year next time.
