Slogging through the mud
The Sherwood Forest Faire is a fun gathering about 40 miles SE of Austin, TX near the small town of McDade. It lasts eight weekends in February and March. It's not a very large Renaissance Festival but it has a friendly feel to it.
Since we moved to Idaho it's a long drive to Sherwood but we wanted to make it back for the wedding of some good friends. They were to be married on Saturday but it was a complete washout. Sunday turned out nice but I was bummed to have been there only one day. It was good seeing old friends and faces, shooting with new people, and the wedding was a blast. I just wish we could have spent more time shooting with the great people there!
I took these photos on 22 March 2015.
