Born 2 Be Mild ~
A Ray Of Sunshine
Okay I know it is rude to post and not comment so I apologize for posting two and not getting around yet but I have an appointment and with all the birding I have been doing and I just got in from shoveling the 8 inches of snow we got this morning I must get going or I will be late. I will be back this evening for sure.
In the meantime I will leave you with this little ray of sunshine from yesterday.
Rosy you were asking what lens I like with my 5D Mark II... well I would have to say that I rarely take my EF100-400 f/4.5 off anymore since I use it for the birds. Let me rephrase that I have been using it pretty much steady but I do like to take it off and add the Extender EF 2xII often but that makes the it go up to f11 at 400mm which is (800mm) and with the light lately that is tough. The other downside of the extender is that you lose the ability to use auto focus, but that is just something to get use to. As far as tripods go. Pretty much all of my bird shots are hand held. I really can't use that for the birds because they flit around too much. I do sometimes rest my elbow on something but that is not always possible either. I hope that answered your question.
