Against The Grain
There's a Bad Religion song that has the same title as this image. I really like that band and listened to them a lot when I was younger, and still do now.
This pic is a little bit abstract, but there are a load of themes in here despite it being a really basic "build".
The most straightforward of these is the obvious gold leg facing the opposite way, hence - against the grain. The variation in colour despite the uniform nature of the legs, hinting individuality. The circle/loop representing cycles, movement, Earth, and linkage. The colour of the background was the most "earthy" I could think of to contrast the plastic. Also, I ended up going with the imperfections in the circle to reinforce the idea of complete/ incomplete.
Don't worry, I'll be back to my usual builds later this week. I haven't lost my mind, I just felt like a change :P
