Cap Blanc-Nez
The white Cretaceous cliffs, comparable to the White Cliffs of Dover. This thick chalk layer mainly consists of the skeletons from plankton and necton. The beach is littered with marcasite spheroidal nodules. When cut in half, a beautiful radiating golden structure is visible. Marcasite unfurtunately is very unstable and weathers quickly due to moisture (from air), turning it to dust.
