CROIG, ISLE OF MULL, ARGYLL SCOTLAND
Croig is a little village in the north west of the Isle of Mull. It is at the end of a single-track road with a tiny harbour (and very limited parking). A track leads from the harbour to Port na Ba (Port of the Cattle in English) where cattle from the Small Isles used to be landed on the beach and then drove to Croig and on to markets on mainland Scotland.
The day of my visit in July this year was very windy, much too windy for a tripod – we would both have been blown into the sea! The monopod was just the job!
