star block for a small pouch

i fell in love with blueelephantstitches’ texas star blocks (aren’t they amazing?? she even has a great tutorial!), but somehow i was in the mood for a paper piecing session. so i googled for a pattern and actually found one. yeah! this is my second attempt at paper piecing. i hope that this block will be perfect for a little pouch. i’m handquilting it with sparkle floss!!
