40153, Llandudno Junction, August 1978

English Electric Type 4 No. 40153 approaches Llandudno Junction with the 13:44 Llandudno - York while a Class103/Class 104 DMU combo travels in the opposite direction on 12th August 1978.

 

This part of the Conwy estuary has since been filled in and is now occupied by the abomination that is the North Wales Expressway (A55).
