Sowerby Bridge, April 2018
Sowerby Basin at the western end of the Calder & Hebble Navigation, close to the junction with the Rochdale Canal. The folly on the skyline is Wainhouse Tower, the tallest structure in Calderdale and the tallest folly in the world. It was erected in the four years between 1871 and 1875 and is now a Grade II* listed building.
