A location that doesn't see a great number of steam specials so my presence here was opportune to say the least. The Lickey Incliner railtour, which had originated at Finsbury Park with haulage provided by 2968 and 7325 from Bristol to Kidderminster, has just come off the Sutton Park line while 44767 approaches from the Walsall direction with the Pines Express returning from Crewe to Guildford.
