Çamlik Railway Museum, Izmir Province, Turkey

The Çamlik Railway Museum is located on the former Ottoman Railway mainline, the oldest line in Turkey, near the village of Çamlık, very close to the famous historical site at Ephesus. When the tracks on the Izmir to Aydın main line were realigned, a small portion of the line as well as the original Çamlık railway station were abandoned. Work to set up the museum started in 1991, and was completed in 1997. It uses the original tracks laid in 1866.
