Tyseley, Birmingham, June 1967

Tyseley depot ceased to function as a steam running shed in November 1966 but, for some months after, it continued to receive visits by steam locomotives from other sheds for tyre turning. Parked in front of the diesel railcar depot on 17th June 1967 are Black Fives 44902 and 45382 from Carlisle Kingmore and Rose Grove respectively, and BR Standard Class 4 75048 from Lostock Hall. In the left background is English Electric Type 4 D226.
