At 1707 hrs on 29th April 1989, 47327 approaches Hadnall on the Crewe to Shrewsbury line with southbound Gulf oil tanks.
There is some conjecture as to the identity of this working (see comments below). On this date, the line between Wolverhampton North Junction and Stafford Road Junction was closed for bridge replacement which would have necessitated the diversion of the Albion Oil Terminal to Waterston empties, but it may have been a train returning from British Tar at Glazebrook.
